Re: Snooganssnoogans

I once asked him to self-revert his newspiece addition and he did. So I guess he's not all bad.

Re: RexxS and RfA's discretionary discretionary range

There are three RfCs on-going at WT:RFA, so there's still some controversy. There was this interesting comment by Bibliowarm, who drafted the 2015 reforms and made up the "in generally" rule for the discretionary range: Yes, the core problem is the voters themselves. The only way to fix that is to d...

Re: Sagecandor returns

Adoring nanny has been suggested to be investigated at SPI now. X1\ was reported by someone who posted a message on my talk page later, but he didn't post public evidence so it was closed. Also the person who opened the newest investigation had previously reported an editor called "Earthscent" but i...

Re: ArbCom 2018 election

I'd like to think that my question (that wasn't a big deal for any regulars, but looked pretty bad for irregulars who would have been just checking the questions page which got 4500 pageviews) made the difference on Drmies not getting elected. 8-)

Re: Sagecandor returns

I haven't seen X1 before, I think. You mention that there aren't any behauvioral patterns, but see his talk page, he seems to be starting a new row often just like Cirt.

There is a new suspected Cirt sockpuppet. Any opinions? Atleast it's suspect that it had edited devil's triangle (something that Cirt edited in Wiktionary too).

Cambodian genocide convictions fail at ITN/C

I've been following the Khmer Rouge Tribunal since 2014, when the original convictions for crimes against humanity were given. The UN-approved tribunal was started in 2006. I was hoping that they manage to process the genocide charges before the indictees pass away, as two already had. This was a ma...

Re: ArbCom 2018 election

Some have said Lourdes is female, though I don't see any clear acknowledgment of such in the obvious places. Provided it is true, I would gives Lourdes a good shot at making it up there if anyone actually mentions it in some place regular voters will see it. I like Lourdes for making the incivility...

Re: BullRangifer

Some of his comments when discussing QW were pretty bizarre: ... Context, context, context! That's what determines whether we should use a source or not. Even if we don't use the source in a given situation, that doesn't mean it's "unreliable", and QW is reliable, get that straight. Reliable doesn't...

Re: BullRangifer

Just check the Sucks thread. There was also a 2007 ArbCom case about BullRangifer aka Fyslee (his previous nick on Wikipedia): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Requests_for_arbitration/Barrett_v._Rosenthal That had a a fairly critical finding on him. It's funny that despite that, he has conti...
