Re: Wikipediocracy's failure is a joy to watch

Vigilant has a problem with your spelling? What an ignorant dumbass. The beautiful thing about Dutch is that all the spelling was standardized in the 1800s. No stupid accent marks either. If you learn a few simple rules you can read and write Dutch easily. If anyone should be embarrassed about spell...

Interesting. It's nice to see so much put down in one letter.

Re: Vladimir Lenin

Many genocidal dictators are calm and sweet when you meet them in person. Hitler loved his dog so much Eva Braun used to kick her under the table.

Julian Assange arrested!

Ecuador withdrew protection. There are some sweet quotes from the president. "We've ended the asylum of this spoiled brat," a visibly flustered President Lenin Moreno said Thursday in a fiery speech explaining his decision to withdraw protection of Assange and hand him over to British police. "From ...

Re: Wikipediocracy's failure is a joy to watch

yeah he sucks.

His Wikipedia commentary can sometimes be on point but the vast majority of his output is PvP garbage. We've seen these types of forum-killers before. Somey puts up with them because they seem smart and can write a good post now and then.

Re: WMF: we have a plan

Someone needs to ask Katherine why they keep diverting Wikipedia's donor money to the Wiki Education Foundation, where there is no direct oversight by her or the WMF.

Re: Wikipediocracy's failure is a joy to watch

Vigilant is what he is. A sad dork policing a forum because he gets some satisfaction out of bullying others. I don't even blame him. I blame Midsize Jake. This happens every time he runs a forum. He's too soft on abusers, and he lets them get to the point where they feel like they can heap scorn an...

Jimmy to be next Executive Director

Maher is stepping down in order to take a position with the UN. Good idea, it seems a better fit for her interests.

Jimmy as we all know has been between projects for a while now. He should be the shot in the arm the Wikimedia Foundation needs.

Let the new Jimbo era begin!

Of course the site is pretty much Jimbos personal blog now.
Not that there's anything wrong with that. :D
