Carrite versus Sanger

Post by Renée Bagslint » Fri May 11, 2018 5:29 pm

Oh dear. Brandy is cross with Larry:

It seems that he is unsatisfied with the attribution on Everipedia for "his" Wikpedia article on Socialist Labor Party (link to article, attribution is the first link under heading "Reference Links").

This is the same Brandy who gave up work on the project to clear out Richard Arthur Norton's 6539 potential direct copyright violations and plagiarisms, because he didn't think it was worth it. How different things seems when it's your own work that's being copied.

I don't know how you can do any better than this, except maybe a flashing sign at the top of the page?

Carrite is flat wrong.

Wikipedia was meant for this kind of sharing.

Brandy is only following that old maxim, the unwritten motto of Wikipedia, “What's yours is mine and what's mine is my own”. He hates Sanger, at least enough to libel him. If he really meant it, he would sue for copyright infringement, which would be fun, but he doesn't, it's just an excuse to throw insults at someone who exposed, from the inside, the fundamental and irremediable failings in the project Carrite has devoted a chunk of his life to. It's literally intolerable for Carrite to treat Sanger as being anything but completely wrong about everything ever.
