Quasimodo tweets

Post by Renée Bagslint » Mon Apr 15, 2019 8:51 pm

Gosh, it's all about wiki, isn't it? In the midst of the burning down of Notre Dame, one of the treasures of world heritage, and a disaster for human culture, a wikipedian tweets
If you have any pictures of artworks within the Notre Dame, and if you are willing to license those pictures please upload them to Commons
Yes, it's all about what this means for Commons, isn't it? But it's OK, because Katherine tells us
cathedral construction is not a lost tradition in Europe
Does she even know what a cathedral is? No, but she reminds us that
There is so much in the current discourse that seems happy to burn down all "sacred" institutions. The symbolism of rebuilding a literal sacred institution is appealing.

Like the way Wikipedia is trying to tear down the institutions of knowledge, I suppose.

Insane. Of course it is a disaster for human culture, and can't in no way be replaced by a few shitty common pictures. Most times of extreem poor quality. Many times iPhone pictures, and a picture, a picture is of course in no way a replacement of this cultural treasure.

First of all, we must be very grateful only three firefighters and police officers where slitty wounded. To put it in it's perspective.
But they did a great job by saving as much as they could. Many irreplaceable treasures have been saved by them, and the structure of the church too.

But here is written the church was in a extreem poor condition. (in Dutch.)
https://www.volkskrant.nl/nieuws-achter ... gle.com%2F

And because most is saved I think the Notre Dame will be even a much better after this blaze. And the golden cross is saved, and all in the Holy Week. The will of god?

Let huppelkut and nitwit Katherine Maher just shut up with here shitty twitter and Commons filled with child porn, the real Notre Dame will be better than ever and is saved for the next generations!

Look what Barack Obama wrote on his twitter:
Barack Obama wrote:Notre Dame is one of the world’s great treasures, and we’re thinking of the people of France in your time of grief. It’s in our nature to mourn when we see history lost – but it’s also in our nature to rebuild for tomorrow, as strong as we can.
Was Obama talking about a few shitty Common pictures? No. He is talking about our nature to rebuild for tomorrow. Rebuilding for the next generations to come. And what is Katerine Maher? Some girl born with a golden spoon in here mouth who is playing a social justice revolutionair, COE of the wikishit Foundation.

https://www.ad.nl/dossier-brand-notre-d ... ~a64fe89b/

The Russians are really good experts, the Notre Dame will be better than ever! No victims, some light injuries, most treasures saved, only a complete fool can compare this with 9/11! To replace the Notre Dame on shitty child porn Commons, Dat wijf van Maher is gek! Stapelgek! Talking out of her wrong end!

Here, these are the heroes.

https://www.ad.nl/dossier-brand-notre-d ... ~a3c2938f/
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2019/0 ... cathedral/
Notre-Dame fire: Construction workers 'questioned' as priest is hailed hero for saving Crown of Thorns .
And not the foolish girl from the rich suburbs Wilton (Connecticut) who is playing "prinses of social justice" on her twitter account is the hero. Katherine Maher with her porn Commons as replacement for the Notre Dame, what a joke! What a clown!

Jean-Marc Fournier, the priest of the Paris fire brigade is the hero for saving Crown of Thorns! Not Maher, not WMF, not Commons, no, no, no.

Katherine seems determined to use the Notre-Dame fire to polish her progressive credentials. She decides to retweet this tweet in which someone decides to refer to the Great Mosque of Aleppo as "Notre Dame d'Alep", thereby offending both Muslims and Christians, which was badly damaged in the Syrian Civil War, and asking "Who Cares?". Th implication is that we in the West are somehow guilty of caring more about our own heritage. Well, the answer to his rhetorical question is: "A lot of people". The damage was widely reported, and condemned, in Western media at the time, and reconstruction is underway by the local authorities, as you would expect and hope, funded by donations largely from the Muslim world.

So why does Katherine promote this rhetorical question. Clearly she sees it to her advantage to further the agenda that somehow "we are all guilty". Except that "we" excludes progressive thinkers like her, obviously.

According to her Wikipedia biography, Maher studied in Cairo and then in Damascus before graduating from NYU with a BA in Middle Eastern and Islamic studies:

So, while she did not pursue an academic career, her interest in this matter would appear to be genuine and not merely a pose.

I do not criticise her interest in the topic which she chooses to promote her political ambitions, but the way she chooses to exploit that topic for personal advantage. The relevance to this board, incidentally, is to reinforce the notion that she is using the WMF and the volunteer movement to further her own political ambitions.

My guess from her personal public pronouncements is that she would like to move on (up?) to a senior post in or head of a larger non-profit involved in more overtly political activities, or an NGO. Probably digital, possibly knowledge-related, very likely international.

I agree. She is talking only populair "social justice talk", but the only things I have seen are many, many empty words. And she is just like Jumbo most times manipulating the algorithms with here insane peptalk. Just like here:

https://twitter.com/krmaher/status/1119046949272002561
Katherine Maher wrote:Sometimes I like to pull up the @Wikimedia staff and contractors page and appreciate all the excellent humans I'm lucky enough to call colleagues. Is that weird? https://wikimediafoundation.org/role/staff-contractors/ … 18:15 - 18 apr. 2019
There is not any logical reason to tweed this except pimping this people so the bots higher there rank. All that staff and contractors are just like she is job hunters and incompetent profiteers. They simple spoil the donormoney and "correct" there complete incompetence by this kind of pimping there blunders and the fact they are fake professionals. Both James Alexander and WMF there legal incompetent team are examples of this. She is just a foolish girl from Wilton (Connecticut) who is playing the "prinses of social justice" and the saver of this world.

Who can be so stupid only to have the illusion a few poor iPhone pictures can replace the Notre Dame? a job what professionals will take years and year-end what cost hundreds of millions? Katherine Maher.

In general is Commons only very useful for (child) porn lovers, people who want to show the world there penis, and for poor quality mobile phone pictures. Because a good photographer like I am with million's of views on my flickr (Around 7 million views )doesn't give his pictures away so everyone can make money out of them.

And I have noticed how Romaine was changing the meta data of Common pictures. And I asked him on wikiquote on his talkpage how that was possible, because all of a sudden all kind of high quality pictures appeared in De Kroeg of the Dutch Wikipedia, but no, mister Romaine never gave me a answer how it was possible all these pictures had the same not realistic metadata from his mobile phone .....
